If you’re considering hiring me as your wedding photographer, I should tell you a little about my wedding photography philosophy. During the week, I take photos of commercial buildings for a real estate company. I shoot weddings for fun!
I’ve read that to become an expert at a craft you have to spend 10,000 hours practicing that craft. So, don’t let your Uncle Stevie take pictures of the event you’ve spent a whole year planning! I’ve been taking pictures for 20 years and I use my background as a photojournalist to capture important moments on your special day. I also have shot many, many weddings and I know which ways to pose you for portraits and I know how to get really gorgeous pictures of all of those details you spent so much time planning.
I especially love “Do it Yourself” type of weddings where family and friends pitch in to make the day special. I feel those weddings are the most uniquely personal and the most fun to shoot, too.
